IT之家 November 5 news, Great Wall Motor Chairman Wei Jianjun announced today that the pre-sale launch event for the Wey brand second-generation Lanshan will be held on November 9.

Wei Jianjun said that in his understanding, a launch event should answer all of users’ questions. So this time the Wey team came up with a bolder and more direct launch event format, aiming to hold the sharpest, most incisive, most soul-stirring launch event. Everyone is welcome to ask questions, and the R&D and marketing teams will answer them for everyone.

According to previous IT之家 reports, the Great Wall Wey brand second-generation Lanshan had its global debut on October 27, and the second-generation Lanshan is built on Great Wall’s Guiyuan S platform.

The dimensions of the second-generation Lanshan differ depending on the seating layout. The extra 160mm of vehicle length in the six-seat version is mainly used for third-row seating space and trunk capacity.

In terms of power, the Wey brand abandoned the first generation’s 1.5T hybrid and switched to a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 182kW, matched with front 110kW and rear 220kW dual motors and a 4-speed hybrid dedicated transmission.

In terms of battery capacity, information filed with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows two versions offered, 53.6kWh and 64.7kWh, with WLTC all-electric range of 220km and 270km respectively; the 53.6kWh version has a top speed of 205km/h, and the 64.7kWh version 210km/h. The chassis is equipped with dual-chamber air suspension and a rear axle mechanical differential lock, and the air suspension supports adjustment of body height and suspension firmness.
