Thanks to IT Home user Qingchuan Wenhe for the tip-off!
IT Home November 5 news, Huawei Cloud announced on November 1 that the MaaS model-as-a-service platform will stop selling the two model services openPangu-2.0-Flash and openPangu-2.0-Pro on November 6, 2026, and will officially take them offline at 00:00 on November 30. However, Huawei officially stated that new versions of the openPangu series models are already in planning and will be gradually rolled out and launched later.

IT Home’s actual testing found that Xiaoyi Work was the first to launch the openPangu-2.1-Pro model, featuring “HarmonyOS task enhancement”.

Huawei has not yet announced the specific capabilities of this model, and there is also no public information on the specific parameter specifications of the openPangu-2.1-Pro model (parameter count, activation count, context, training data, etc.). This indicates that 2.1-Pro is a very new model that has not yet been publicly released, and is currently only supported in Xiaoyi Work.
It should be noted that Xiaoyi Work is still in Beta and requires payment to use (the first 31 days are free with a limited-time offer of 1000 AI points), with a discounted continuous monthly subscription price of 49 yuan for the experience package and 199 yuan for the standard package, supporting market research, document processing, PPT creation, data analysis, content creation, code development, and more.
