IT之家 November 4 news, blogger @数码闲聊站 revealed today that the English name of Huawei’s sub-brand 星芒 (Xingmang) is OSTA, and the phone box also says OSTA; the first wide-bar phone is called OSTA O1 Pro.
The blogger’s leak mentions that the OSTA O1 Pro will be available in three color options: Starry Sky Black / Nebula White / Xingmang Purple, as well as 12+256GB/12+512GB/16+512GB/16+1TB capacities.
The blogger also previously revealed that a certain manufacturer’s wide-bar phone uses a 6.39-inch 1.5K LTPS flat screen, with a screen ratio that looks like 16:9.5, 1.05mm± ultra-narrow four-sided equal bezels, the power button changed to purple, and the engineering unit still has a racetrack Deco design; it is a wide-bar phone mainly targeting the online market, with a relatively more cost-effective positioning.
Blogger @定焦数码 also revealed that the OSTA O1 Pro adopts a narrow-bezel + horizontal elongated strip Deco design; there is also an OSTA O1 flat-screen phone, which uses a quad-curved screen + large circular disc Deco.
The name “星芒” is not the first time it has appeared in public view. IT之家 learned from public trademark information that Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. applied to register the “华为星芒” trademark as early as February 2023, and completed the registration announcement in September 2023.
In July 2026, Huawei once again submitted a “星芒” trademark application, covering smartphones and chip categories, and its current status is “registration application in progress.” However, trademark arrangements themselves do not equate to product launch; in previous years, rumors of sub-brands such as “星耀手机” also appeared on the market, but ultimately were not fulfilled for a long time.
