IT之家 notes that the Roewe Jiayue X7 filed this time is a hybrid sports passenger vehicle, a brand-new family SUV product under SAIC Roewe, positioned as a large five-seat mid-size SUV, focusing on daily family travel scenarios.
In terms of body dimensions, the new car’s length, width and height are 4900/1924/1759 (1765) mm respectively, the wheelbase reaches 2863mm, the front track is 1647mm and the rear track is 1661mm, the approach angle / departure angle is 19°/23° (19°/24°), the curb weight comes in two versions of 1820kg and 1860kg, the gross weight is 2273kg and 2313kg, the rated passenger capacity is 5 people, tire specifications are available in 235/55R19 and 245/50R20, and it is also equipped with an anti-lock braking system and an Event Data Recorder (EDR), and an ETC onboard device can also be optionally installed.
At the rear, the new car adopts a full-width taillight design, with the ROEWE lettering in the center of the tailgate, the words SAIC Roewe on the left, and the Jiayue X7 model designation on the right. The rear bumper adopts a combination of a black guard plate with silver trim strips, and the overall style leans toward a family-oriented, steady orientation.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 15FLE model 1.5T engine produced by SAIC Motor Corporation Limited, with a displacement of 1498ml, a rated engine power of 132kW, and a maximum net power of 130kW, combined with a ternary lithium-ion battery to form a gasoline-electric hybrid power system. The battery assembly is supplied by Sunwoda Power Technology Co., Ltd., external charging is not supported, the top speed is 180km/h, and emissions meet the China VI B standard.
In terms of optional configurations, the new car can be equipped with a manual roof rack, sunroof, fender trim, different styles of wheels, exterior trim strips and lettering/emblems, and also offers versions with / without LiDAR and with / without a rear upper camera, to cover users with different configuration needs.
