According to a previous leak by blogger @数码闲聊站, several familiar phone product lines or tablet lines will soon stop receiving updates, because costs cannot be covered, and the more new devices are released, the more losses are incurred.

Since the beginning of this year, some phone manufacturers or brands have announced that they will stop updating. On February 27, Meizu issued a strategic transformation announcement, announcing the suspension of its domestic phone new product self-developed hardware projects, and it is actively contacting third-party hardware partners, while existing business is not affected in any way.

OPPO officially announced its sub-brand global product strategy on July 16: realme new products will focus on overseas markets and suspend product updates in the Chinese market; OnePlus will keep product updates in the Indian market unchanged while focusing on developing the Chinese market, and suspend releasing new products in Europe and North America.
